Quick answer: Levanta, Oink, and Viral Vue get lumped together in every “best Amazon influencer tools” roundup, but they’re not actually fighting for the same job. Oink and Viral Vue automate the storefront and Creator Connections you already have. Levanta is a separate deal marketplace where brands pay you directly, on Amazon, Shopify, and Walmart, sometimes with a flat fee on top of the usual commission. All three are free to join. Most working creators end up running one of the first two alongside Levanta, not choosing a single winner.
These Three Aren’t Actually Competing
Every comparison post, mine included, tends to line these three up like they’re the same product. They’re not. Here’s the honest split:
- Oink and Viral Vue both live inside your existing Amazon storefront workflow. They watch the Creator Connections campaigns you’re already eligible for, bulk-accept the ones that match your criteria, and flag broken or untagged videos so you’re not quietly earning zero on something you already filmed.
- Levanta is a different animal. It’s a marketplace where sellers post paid partnership offers, flat fees plus commission, and creators apply or get matched. It’s not tied to your existing storefront videos at all, and as of February 2026 it added Paid Placements: brands pay a flat rate for editorial or video content on top of standard affiliate commission, with performance tracked through to conversion. It also spans Shopify and Walmart, not just Amazon.
So the real question isn’t “which one wins.” It’s “do I need storefront automation, a new deal pipeline, or both.”

Levanta: The Deal Marketplace, Not a Storefront Tool
Levanta doesn’t touch your existing storefront videos. It connects you to brands running paid partnerships across Amazon, Shopify, and Walmart, and consolidates the payouts into one monthly deposit instead of chasing several brands separately.
Three real updates since it launched:
- Paid Placements (February 17, 2026): brands pay a flat fee for editorial or video content, on top of the standard affiliate commission, tracked through to conversion. [OFFICIAL, Levanta press release via PR Newswire]
- Multi-channel expansion (March 2, 2026): one platform across Amazon, Shopify, and Walmart instead of three separate logins. [REPORTED, Yahoo Finance]
- Perch+ acquisition (April 6, 2026): Levanta bought one of the earliest Amazon-specific affiliate networks, pushing its brand roster past 60,000 vetted partners. [OFFICIAL, Levanta and GlobeNewswire]
Levanta’s own site states creators pay nothing and the platform takes no cut of commissions. It doesn’t publish an exact take rate on the flat-fee side beyond that, so treat that specific number as unconfirmed until you’re inside a real deal. Category commission rates advertised on Levanta’s site (Beauty and Health around 25%, Electronics 20%, Kitchen 15%) are Levanta’s own marketplace rates for its brand network, not Amazon’s Associates rate card, don’t confuse the two.
Oink and Viral Vue: The Storefront Automation Layer
I’ve written a full round by round breakdown of these two already (the full Oink vs Viral Vue comparison is here), so I’ll keep this short: Oink is faster for bulk Creator Connections acceptance and has the stronger asset-protection features (Copyright Audit, Broken Video Detector). Viral Vue‘s product-research scoring is the stronger pick for deciding what to review next, but its Creator Connections matching and Media Kits sit behind the $79/mo Pro tier, not the $39/mo Starter plan.
Both of them work on top of Creator Connections campaigns you’re already eligible for inside your Amazon storefront, the same bonus commissions, typically 10 to 50% on top of the base Associates rate, that Amazon’s own Creator Connections program runs. Neither tool creates new deals for you the way Levanta does, they just make sure you’re not leaving existing ones unclaimed.
Can You Run More Than One?
Yes, and most working creators end up doing exactly that. There’s no real conflict: Levanta finds you paid deals your storefront wouldn’t otherwise see, while Oink or Viral Vue keeps the Creator Connections campaigns you already qualify for from slipping through the cracks. Running Levanta plus one storefront tool covers more ground than either alone, and since Levanta is free, there’s no cost tradeoff to weigh.
Which One Should You Actually Sign Up For?
- Just getting your storefront moving? Start with Oink’s free tier for the storefront health checks, and add Levanta once you have a handful of videos live so brands have something to evaluate.
- Already have a real video library and want more paid deals, not just commission? Levanta is the one you’re missing. It’s free, and the flat-fee Paid Placements structure is money you don’t get from a standard Associates link at all.
- Doing serious product research and building toward brand pitches? Viral Vue’s scoring and Media Kits earn their keep, but budget for the $79/mo Pro tier if Creator Connections matching matters to you specifically.
- Worried about content theft or untagged videos quietly costing you commission? That’s Oink’s strongest, most specific feature. Nothing here replaces it.
Frequently asked questions
Do Levanta, Oink, and Viral Vue compete with each other?
Not directly. Oink and Viral Vue automate the Creator Connections campaigns and storefront health inside your existing Amazon presence. Levanta is a separate marketplace for paid brand deals across Amazon, Shopify, and Walmart. Plenty of creators use Levanta alongside one of the other two.
Is Levanta free for creators?
Levanta’s own site states there are no fees and no commitments to join, and it advertises taking no cut of creator commissions. It doesn’t publish an exact take rate on the flat-fee Paid Placements side beyond that.
Does Levanta work outside of Amazon?
Yes, as of its March 2026 multi-channel expansion, Levanta covers Amazon, Shopify, and Walmart from one platform, which is different from Oink and Viral Vue, both of which are Amazon-specific storefront tools.
Which one has the best commission rates?
They’re not really comparable on that axis. Oink and Viral Vue don’t set commission rates, they help you not miss the ones Amazon’s Creator Connections program already offers (10 to 50% bonus on top of base rate). Levanta’s advertised category rates (up to 25% in some categories) come from its own brand network and are a separate deal structure entirely.
